All grade levels begin at 8:00 am.

Grades 1-5 have a full day, and are dismissed at 2:05.

Kindergarten and TK are dismissed at 11:20. Only TK and Kinder are on modified days.

Science Fair and Young Author's Fair showcased student learning this last Wednesday. Says Allison Sayavong, "It has been an amazing week of learning and sharing together- all community members working together to build a strong, caring environment for all." Kitayama students use the scientific method to develop a hypothesis, experiment, and display their findings. Each year, the cafeteria is filled with the results of their hard work. Mrs. Vranjes, our Kitayama librarian, received $1000 in donations from Target for new books this year. She used the money to purchase popular series books, as well as others. Even better, the donation was matched by Kitayama's wonderful PTA! Thanks so much for the support for our budding and avid readers, PTA and Target!
